THE GREAT BRITISH CELEBRATION, WHAT’S THAT?
It’s a brand new made in Les Arcs event aimed at putting the spotlight on British culture! During the 4 days of festivities, the whole resort of les Arcs, from the station in Bourg-Saint-Maurice to the top of the Aiguille Rouge, will be decorated in the colours of the British flag.
The event has just one motto: fun, partying and skiing!
Les Arcs, Paradiski have decided to treat their loyal British visitors for the continued support by putting on this fantastic festival packed with fun and events with a Robin Hood tournament (with contestants armed with foam-tipped arrows), a pyjama party, ski and sledge races between the nations and several other opportunities to “celebrate the Franco-British friendship”.

“Brexit has not affected UK bookings this winter,” said Marion Grognet, marketing director of Les Arcs, “but British skiers and snowboarders make up 45% of overseas visitors to Les Arcs, and we want to remind them that the resort will always be their home. Whatever is happening with politics, we have a fun relationship with UK skiers and this week is about sharing jokes and good moments.”
