Kicking Horse Powder Tours has launched a new Big Mountain ski week that coincides with the new World Freeride Tour venue at Kicking Horse Mountain resort in February 2018.
The week will include two days skiing with Dave Treadway, a local legend and one of Canada’s top freeride skiers. Guests also have the opportunity to witness the world’s very best show off their skills in the second leg of the World Freeride Tourcompetition, with Kicking Horse recently announced as a brand new venue.
Also included during the week is four days off-piste skiing with an ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) guide and one day of BMC (Big Mountain Club) coaching from the team at Kicking Horse Mountain Ski School.
The price is £3,395 per person including return flights from London to Calgary, transfers, 7 nights accommodation in a mountainside luxury lodge, breakfast and lunches, ski pass, one day coaching, four days guiding and two days with Dave Treadway.
Managing Director of Kicking Horse Powder Tours, Richard Barker, comments:
Kicking Horse is the perfect place to hold the World Freeride Tour with its steep chutes and cliff bands spanning the entire mountain. We’re really looking forward to this week and for any real off-piste enthusiasts looking for some adventure and the chance to ski with people like Dave, then this is a real bucket list trip. With some top coaching and guiding thrown in too, we know this week will appeal to people who have done some off-piste already, but are looking to improve. You don’t need to be a rock star skier to join us, just feel comfortable off-piste and have a sense of adventure.
