Multi language ski guide app, SKADI, have announced their official partnership with FIS in the lead up to this coming winter season.

Ahead of winter 17/18, Skadi’s exclusive partnership with FIS gives them official approval from the industry governing body to develop the app for the world’s biggest digital ski club in the run up to the Pyeongchang Olympics and beyond. Skadi is available to download on iOS and GooglePlay now. The standard services are free, and the premium ski club membership with further services and benefits, such as free tickets for FIS World Cup competitions, meet & greets with ski stars and more costs just EUR 14.99 per year.

“We’re extremely proud to announce our partnership with the International Ski Federation, a historic moment for Skadi and a reflection of the hard work and unique design developed by our team. We can’t wait to work with FIS in winter 2017/18 and during the Pyeongchang Olympics ” – Ivan Mikhaylov, Skadi development team.

Skadi offers tailor made audio guidance for users at the resort of their choice worldwide, as well as the world’s first real time, in resort skiing adventure challenge. Skadi’s unique technology and incredibly detailed maps allow users to navigate terrain with ease, regardless of weather conditions or ability, giving each skier or snowboarder access to the best secret slopes to ski and ride on the mountain. Skadi’s new partnership with FIS gives them official government body recognition within the ski industry, a testimony to the high quality experience of the app.

Unique navigational tools of the app mean users can calculate journey times from point to point, with accurate updates for lift lines, so when you need to meet up with friends you know exactly how long that extra run will take. There’s no need to be concerned about data charges as Skadi is available to use completely offline. Skadi’s additional features include augmented reality challenges, where skiers can score points, collect virtual ‘crystals’ and interact with mountain creatures on their adventure on the slopes.
