Alpine Property Search, a new agency specialising in the sale of mountain properties in Switzerland, France and Japan, has launched this winter.

The agency, headed up by former investment banker David Bhagat, promises a personal service and attention to detail that will set it apart from competitors.

David and the team are passionate winter sports enthusiasts and have intimate knowledge of the resorts where they have properties listed for sale. Their extensive network allows them to find out about properties prior to their release onto the open market as well as properties that are never released for public sale.

There’s a selection of chalets and apartments listed in a number of resorts with Switzerland being a key focus. Resorts include, Crans Montana, Verbier and Nendaz all in the popular Valais region, easily accessible from Geneva Airport. Several French resorts are also featured, including Courchevel, Morzine and Tignes and then further afield, Niseko in Japan, well-known for its deep powder snow conditions throughout the winter.

Prices for a two bedroom apartment in Chatel, France, start at EUR 345,345 with a chalet in Villars, Switzerland, currently listed for CHF 5,500.00.

Bhagat said:

We started Alpine Property Search because of our love of the mountains and passion for skiing. We know the resorts first hand and because of that we can help buyers choose the right property in the right location for them. Our intimate local market knowledge and relationships mean we can offer advice throughout any purchase; for example, on suitable notaries, banks, and foreign exchange experts, as well as local tradesmen, rental agencies and tax specialists.
