Europe is often seen as the centre of the skiing world, not just for the UK but for the whole world. With 16 countries providing Alpine skiing resorts with over 25kms of skiing it is unparalleled in size.
Europe is home to the largest ski area in the world, Les Trois Valées, home to 600km over interconnected runs! It has an abundance of glaciers, from the Kitzsteinhorn in Austria, Tignes in France and Saas Fee in Switzerland., meaning Europe is an all year round skiing location!
Ski Resorts Europe
In total Europe has over 37,000 kms of skiing, over 15,000 lifts and some believe over 1500 ski resorts! In reality many of these “resorts” are nothing more than a day visit or a few hours up and down one lift and slope. The ski resorts Snowresort feature will have sufficient facilities to allow you to stay, ski, eat, drink and usually contain some non ski activities meaning these ski resorts are suitable for at least a short break/ski weekend.
