Breaking News – France Reopens

The news that many skiers have been waiting for was released early this morning. France is to reopen it’s borders to visitors from the UK tomorrow (14th January 2022).

In a Tweet a little after 0830 this morning Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, French Minister for Tourism announced:

“We are relaxing the entry conditions to France from the United Kingdom for vaccinated travelers.

End of isolation on arrival
Negative test < 24h will be requested

The decree will be published tomorrow morning, with immediate entry into force“

We are awaiting clarification of whether a lateral flow or PCR test is required.
