The fantastic Aspen piste map has something for everyone. With four separate ski areas – each with their own individuality, they’re not lift linked, however you can easily access them all via the free shuttle between them. The main ski area is Aspen, however you also have Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.

Although you’ll find lots of accommodation with a luxury price tag, if you’re looking for Aspen ski accommodation, you’ll find a variety of choices to suit most budgets.

Although it may not be the snowiest part of the Rockies, visitors will certainly be able to make the most of the steep terrain – especially if you’re an off-piste fan and head for the High Alpine chair and The Cirque drag at Snowmass.

Packed full of character, you’ll really enjoy strolling through the old town, with its excellent choice of designer shops and eating establishments. Beyond a doubt, the variety of skiing is superb – and you’ll most definitely enjoy the blissfully uncrowded pistes.

For non-skiers in Aspen, you’ll find so much to do. Although it’s known for being a high- class resort, it’s still a welcoming location regardless of your budget. Shoppers and window shoppers alike will be in their element, with many designer names to be found here. You’ll also find art galleries, cinemas, an ice rink, and an opera house in the resort

Owing to its status of being favoured by the rich and famous, you will find prices high in town and on the hill, however you will get the chance to do some celeb spotting! It may not be the snowiest part of the Colorado Rockies, but you will be in store for some superb terrain across the four ski areas
