The British love skiing and snowboarding in France – it’s the number one destination for British winter sports holidays, mainly due to the variety of slopes, choice of resorts and proximity to the UK.
But, getting a grip on the language can prove tricky, so Helen Watts from Alpine French School, based in the ski resort of Morzine, has come up with their essential (and some perhaps not so essential) list of phrases that will help any non-French speaker navigate the challenging terrain faced when enjoying the French mountains in winter time.
